Honey
Honey is highly emollient and therefore well suited as a general cosmetic ingredient. Since it also has antibacterial effects, it is particularly useful in the care of inflammatory skin conditions. Caution is advised for people with allergies.
In aromatherapy, honey has a balancing and calming effect, relieving nervousness and insomnia, and offering comfort.
