This is ginger, not ginseng
The moment I smelled this lotion I immediately knew the scent was ginger instead of ginseng. I am disappointed because I love the smell of ginseng. The lotion itself is very moisturizing. It makes my face feel warm because of the ginger ingredient. I think this product is misleading because it should say ginger not ginseng.

Nice
Lovely refreshing lotion, citrus scent - lemon balm and linden blossom. Ginseng effect I think is a little brightening.

The lotion is light in consistency, while the cream is very heavy and has a pretty greasy feeling after applying, as one of the main inci is lanolin. Depending on where you live I can recommend both, especially if your skin is dry to very dry. In winter (Germany) I'm using the cream at night and during the day I'm mixing the cream with the lotion. In summer the lotion alone is perfectly fine. If you live in a country where it's overall warm or hot throughout the year, go for the lotion only.
