ICEA Certified Cosmetics

The "Environmental and Ethical Certification Institute" (ICEA) is an organization that controls and certifies companies that deal activities in regard to humans and nature, respecting worker and consumer rights. Around 13,000 controlled companies must meet stringent ethical, environmental and social requirements.

ICEA Eco Bio Cosmetics Certification:

• Herbal ingredients must be organic or of wild crop.
• Questionable ingredients contained in the product or its packaging are prohibited.
• Non-herbal, potentially harmful, allergenic, irritating or potentially harmful substances are prohibited.
• Impact on the environment, e.g. through unnecessary packaging or recyclable materials must be minimized.
• Raw materials may only be minimally toxic and have no unforeseen effects on humans.
• Raw materials must be compatible with the skin.
