Vetiver
This plant stems from the Poaceae family and is native to Africa, China, and India as well as North and South America. It has antiseptic and circulation-enhancing properties when found in cosmetics. Vetiver can be used in products suitable for acne and skin that has poor circulation but also has good caring properties in general and promotes skin regeneration.
In aromatherapy, vetiver has stimulating, euphoric, mood-enhancing, soothing, grounding, warming and relaxing properties. Fear, depression, nervousness and loss of sexual appetite are reduced.
