Purple star (33)

I'm a 'bright winter' (dark hair and eyes, lightbrown/caramel/golden/olive skin). I bought the colour 'purple star', because colours with a blue-ish tone suit me better than orange tones. This colour suits me ok, but I would not really consider this purple. It's more towards the brownish side. It also seems a bit sheer to me, but that could also be the combo with my lips. All in all, this colour does not really 'pop' on my face/with my colours. Will therefore not buy this colour again. The formula is nice though and the colour is easy to apply.

I love it, but colour confusing

I have 'Pink Fuchsia'. It's a colour I've been looking for for a while and Lavera was the only brand that seemed to have it, so I was excited. The lipstick has a rich, creamy consistency although it is a little heavy. The finish is highly pigmented and slightly shimmery (but not full-on glossy). It takes a little while to dry but lasts several hours. The colour on the label and of the lipstick itself is, however, different to the colour when on - it's more of a reddish pink than bluish (because colour mixes with skin undertones) so that was a little disappointing. Still a beautiful colour though. It's a bit pricier than what I'm used to but some people spend £30+ on lipsticks so it's all relative.
Definitely the classiest lipstick I own and possibly my favourite too.

disappointed

I've been using Lavera toiletries (not make up) for many years. Recently I learned about the ingredient carmine (squashed bugs): used to give a red hue in cosmetics. It can also be listed in the ingredients as Ci 75470. Lavera describes itself as cruelty free and 95% vegan. Carmine is not an animal by-product!! I was so surprised and disappointed to find Lavera use Carmine. Come on Lavera, this is 2021,find an alternative.......

Lavera Beautiful Lips Colour Intense

Bought as Christmas present for my daughter, who loves this lipstick. This is the second year that it has appeared on her Christmas list! She says it feels wonderfully moisturising and silky, and the bonus is that it is also eco friendly

Trust the lipstick, not the picture

I really like these lipsticks, they are creamy and moisturizing and have a very good pigmentation. However, I do think the customers can be let down by the fact that the 'swatches' provided by the brand are not very faithful. I'd suggest to look for swatches made by bloggers before ordering one online. Now, the colors I own:
Wild Cherry- Yes, this one is actually a deep cherry red. Slightly lighter than the image provided!
Pink Fuchsia- Avoid if you're looking for a very bright, pinky fuchsia. Go for it if you'd like an elegant magenta, wearable in any season.
Sweet Bramble- Gorgeous plum. My favorite of the four!
Matt and Plum- Probably the most misleading name. I don't find it any less creamy than the others, and it's more a berry than a plum. Still a very pretty lipstick!
