Application:

I have itching scalp and tendency to break the skin while scratching so it is a big problem to me. This shampoo seems to help me with the condition. It isn't too cleansing but still effective. It doesn't lather very much but I don't mind that. The scent is quite peculiar which is the only downside for me. It reminds me (and my hubby) of a moist cellar - he actually thought our shower has mold bc of the scent. The scent does stick to the hair a bit. But hopefully I can live with that. Otherwise a great product.

I bought this shampoo (with mild surfactants and clay) for my sensitive scalp, I don’t have dandruff. I normally wash my (fine, straight, medium long) hair with a sulfate-free baby shampoo. This shampoo creates the same amount of lather as my baby shampoo. If your hair is thick and coarse, you might need to wash it a second time. The consistenty is creamy and smooth, it looks like a thick milkshake. The scent I would describe as moisty pine, rather manly. I prefer my products without fragance and the scent does linger a long time after washing. My hair was clean and soft, even without conditioner. I experienced only a little bit of itching, probably because of the alcohol content, but the next day no issues at all. So overall, a very good mild shampoo, but the scent is just too strong for me.
